Well, it didn’t take long.
Civil unions became legal in Illinois on June 1, 2011, and already we have filings in Illinois to terminate civil unions.
In other words, civil unions partners have filed for Illinois civil unions divorces.
They may be amongst the first, but it’s safe to say they won’t be the last.
