Maryland Approves Gay Marriage

by Beverly A. Pekala on March 5, 2012

Maryland’s Governor has signed into law a bill approving gay marriage. Maryland joins six other states and the District of Columbia in recognizing same-sex marriage. However, it’s not quite a done deal. Voters in Maryland will decide in November whether to reverse approval of this legislation.
